Integrity, Capacity and Capability
KWA's Principal and Senior staff have worked
together as an integrated and stable team for over twenty-five
years. Staff are members of the American Fisheries Society,
The Instititue of Fishery Research Biologists (AIFRB),
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), The
Imaging and Geospatial Information Society
(ASPRS), and The Pacific Northwest Aquatic Monitoring
and Evaluation Partnership (PNAMP), among others. We are
experts in remote sensing technology and offer a full spectrum
of analysis and application for all sectors of natural
resource evaluation, planning and assessment. For example,
we have a long and successful history of providing service
for fisheries management, international harvest regimes,
hydropower mitigation and fish population operations in
addition to an emphasis on Superfund, ESA and bycatch
issues. We are currently implementing several aquatic research
and monitoring programs, many developed by KWA, that evaluate diverse fish and habitat attributes. We also
have a long history
of modeling experience, statistical
design, and, we are widely-published in science
journals across many diciplines.
In summary, KWA has a proven record of facilitating
natural resources policy, tribal law and the associated
cultural issues, and, acquisition of grant source funding
for all of our clients. We have particilar strength
and experience working with regional, national and
international natural resource agencies, academia, the public sector,
municipalities and others to provide a wide range of
science and policy support.
